Riding School Temporarily Closed (Freelance Lessons & Confidence Clinics Continuing as Normal)

It is with deep regret that we had to temporarily close the Riding School this year. We have sadly lost two very experienced riding school horses, and together with rising fee’s we have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily close until we can find or train up some suitable Western Horses. We sincerely thank all of our lovely customers and friends who have supported us in making the riding school a success. Please keep an eye on the website and our Facebook page for news of our re-opening.

*Please note all Western riders or want to be confident riders with their OWN horses.

Also confidence CLINICS for all western and NON western riders are going ahead. (Please text Jo on 07719670321 to book in)

Through August we are dealing with separation anxiety and collecting ring confidence.

Living On Site

We are now living on site providing 24 hour supervision within sight and sound of the horses.

I'm very impressed with the high level of individualised care given to my horse. When she arrived on the yard Jo spent time observing her and tailored her care accordingly. She now has a feeding regime, which suits her perfectly, and plenty of turnout. My mare is a veteran and quite highly strung but she has adapted quickly and happily to her new home. It's a great weight off my mind to know that someone as trustworthy and knowledgeable as Jo is caring for her.

I would like to thank Jo and Ed for making my nervous move to their livery yard so stress- free and welcoming. I am so happy to be at  a professional yard that has a real family and friendly feel. My horse is so settled and happy with you and that makes me happy!
Nafferton park Farm is a pleasant and relaxed environment. The pastoral care of all the horses is second to none and the standard of stable management is exceptional with the horses enjoying deep, clean beds. The yard is extremely tidy and well run. There is as much support as clients need on the yard and we have the added advantage of a weekly visit  from a  qualified teacher. The newly laid indoor school is amazing....I don't have to be concerned about any long hard winters now!! There is plenty of land for grazing in the well-managed fields. The fencing is of a very high standard - the care of the horses continues outside the stable! Nothing is too much trouble for Jo and Ed . I have a high maintenance horse so I should know. I feel totally at ease when I have to leave my horse for any length of time. There is enclosed hacking on the farm and excellent off road hacking in the area....there is usually somebody to accompany you on the many routes around Nafferton and up into the Wolds. Nafferton Park farm is everything I have been looking for in a livery yard...in my opinion it is a friendly yard which has excellent brand new facilities that make it perfect for horse and rider from novice to experienced. I hope I don't ever have to move my horse again.
